Sedona Wheeling: AZFJ
Taking a break from the new Mercedes build, we spent some time in Sedona this weekend with a group of FJ Cruiser enthusiasts called AZFJ for a trip through the gorgeous red rocks of Broken Arrow Trail.
We don’t always like wheeling with large groups, since they can be difficult to maneuver through large trails without slowing everything down and making people impatient, but the AZFJ people we spent time with were patient, full of laughs and a great “non-club” to be around. Their motto is: “We’re not a club, so you’re not a member!” — but at the same time, we felt instantly welcomed into their family. They had a variety of communications, too, so we were able to use our CB radio and Ham Radio equipment to keep in touch with everyone.
One among the group brought a drone and managed to capture some cool footage. Thanks to Jeremy for the aerial views!
OK. Back to work on the Mercedes.
